The Client is a structural engineering firm providing design and construction related services to the building industry throughout the state of Wisconsin.  With over 600 commercial facilities designed in the heavy industrial, retail, office, municipal, school, church, and residential markets, the Client has excellent experience with foundation inspections, repairs, and expert witness services. 

The Problem/Opportunity:  

The Client has team of 4-5 professionals catering to the huge influx of projects in the state of Wisconsin. The Client was facing a shortage of resources and hence was behind schedule on a few projects.  They sought our assistance with design and structural drafting services for a residential project. Following county regulations, they required assistance on the following deliverables: 
  • Structural Design Services  
  • CAD Support in producing the complete structural set which included: 
  1. Foundation Plans 
  2. Basement Framing Plan 
  3. Floor Framing Plam 
  4. Roof Framing 
  5. Sectional Details 
  6. Typical Structural Details 
Furthermore, the Client's architect was unavailable due to unforeseeable circumstances further slowing project progress. As a result, additional support was essential to keep development moving forward.
