The Client, headquartered in Georgia, boasts over ten years of expertise in catering to McDonald’s restaurants' civil engineering requirements. They've successfully executed over 550 projects for McDonald’s across Atlanta and the southeastern region, showcasing their expertise in new store designs, rebuilds, remodels, side-by-side drive-through additions, and various other civil design tasks.

The Problem/Opportunity:

The Client enlisted our services for their residential subdivision project. Following county regulations, the Client required us to provide the following deliverables:

  • Site construction plans
  • Hydrology studies and model
  • Stormwater Management Report

The main challenge of this project came from the large differences in elevation across the 2-acre site, with variations of up to 8 feet from one end to the other. This significant unevenness in the landscape required the addition of retaining walls on one side in the initial design, leading to higher project costs. With our Client's tight budget limits, this increased cost became a crucial issue for the project.
